Empowerment & Healing
Survivors of Institutional Abuse (SIA) is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to empower and aid in the healing of adults who have been subject to live in private or government institutions, detention centers or foster care. Adults that have been subject to institutional abuse share feelings of sadness, rejection and shame about the past. Many struggle to understand who they are and where they belong, and have difficulty trusting and relating to others. SIA provides events to reunite with others, meetings/groups, and referral to outside resources.

Help Kids Get Off the Streets!
James Swift is a conversion therapy survivor of a horrific torture camp that was located in Louisiana. In this gruesome camp, he was beat, sodomized, starved, caged, staff performed shock treatment, tied him up, and was a complete victim of sex trafficking all in the name of changing his sexual orientation. He was only a 15-year old boy. In spite of walking through this fiery journey of a living hell, he is on a mission to tell his story in order to prevent child abuse in teen programs.. He was on Utopia, Fox Network, and won “Next Generation Indie Book Award” for his book, Rusted Rhinestones in 2016!
James Swift has transformed his darkness into a light for homeless children to have a chance at a new beginning. As a young boy of 15, his own parents ostracized him from the family and he was “tossed” into the wild jungle of the streets of New Orleans. The cold hearted truth of fending for himself hit and he felt that he had no other recourse than to resort to prostitution. This led to more beatings, rape and it spiraled down a dysfunctional journey of despair. After reaching rock bottom, he started pulling himself out of the muck of an endless deep swamp. He learned a couple of trades as a Hairstylist and Massage Therapist. He was able to not only support himself but his brother who was also shunned from the family.
Most people would have thrown in the towel, crawled into a hole, resorted to suicide but James Swift persevered in spite of these rough waters of an unforgiving storm. He finally calmed the unruly weather conditions that was heading for his path with his compassionate heart. Every cent of Rusted Rhinestones will be donated to helping children find a better path. He is raising money to open a shelter in order to help homeless children form a better direction. There will be classes to learn a trade, a safe environment, meals and a warm place to sleep. This will be the facilitator for empowerment. .

“Policing the Troubled Teen Industry!”
Liz Ianelli is a survivor of a lockdown therapeutic boarding school called, The Family School. This so called program to help children ended up being a torture camp here in the US. If you looked at a brochure, they had it advertised in such a way that parents would assume it was a prestigious private boarding school. They offered academics and music while carrying a spiritually based structured environment but that… was merely a facade. This so-called esteemed program was open for decades until… survivors came forth which caused parents to think twice about sending their child to this torturous camp. No money— no boarding school. The doors finally shut in August of 2014 due to “The Truth Campaign” created by Alumni.
Liz is a licensed Psychotherapist located in New York, she was featured in the New York Times, is a motivational speaker and an expert clinical educator! She is now educating parents before they consider sending their child to a conversion therapy, bootcamp for kids, rehabilitation program, wilderness camp and you get the idea…. the troubled teen industry. Please visit her site so she can help you monitor these places before they charge you an absurd amount of money and abuse your child. Please visit PacerConsulting993.com to learn more.
